Continuing a drive against the anti-pollution activities in Lahore, district administration Saturday demolished two illegal plants.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, both the plants—Haroon Plant and Ayaz Plant—were established without the approval of the map from the concerned authorities.

Both the plants were located at Tarki Road in the area of Tehsil Shalimar and the operation was carried out under the direction of Assistant Commissioner Lahore Tehniyat Bukhari.

In the operation, the district administration used heavy machinery to demolish the plants. The DC Lahore said that efforts were being made to prevent smog and improve air quality in the district.
