Pakistan’s Consul General in Dubai Ahmed Amjad Ali has said that 60,000 Pakistanis have registered themselves for flight to Pakistan so far.

He said that authorities were aware of the problems of the Pakistanis stranded in Dubai. He said the Pakistani Consulate in Dubai was not issuing air tickets to people; tickets would be issued only by the designated counters of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA). He said that people overcharging for the air tickets must be reported to the Consulate or the police.
