Little boy injured after kite string slit his throat

A two-year-old child was injured after the string of a kite slit his throat in Lower Mall, Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

It is to be noted here that the Punjab government had imposed a ban on kite flying several years ago following deaths of many people including children by lethal string of the kites.

Nevertheless, police are still helpless to control the illegal play by implementing the ban in letter and spirit as the kites are flown frequently in Punjab, especially in the provincial capital Lahore.
