Imran says CJP, CEC protecting the interest of powerful

PTI founder and former prime minister Imran Khan Friday said he has not given the task to any retired general for talks with the powerful, adding that he approved three names to hold dialogue instead of making a deal with the Establishment, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking to the media inside Adiala Jail, Khan said during the last 18 months, he was advocating for talks, but he made it clear that PTI will not make dialogue with three parties. He said that dialogues are always arranged with opponents and not with friends.
PTI founder said that Chief Justice Faez Isa was right when he claimed he was not facing pressure from any quarters.
Imran Khan told CJP that they exert pressure on those who support the weak against the powerful. There was no pressure on CJP because he was playing on the front foot for them. Moreover, Imran Khan said likewise Chief Election Commissioner was playing on the front for the powerful, therefore he too was right when he used to say there was no pressure on him.
Imran Khan asked the courts that it was a decisive moment for them to make justice if courts don’t stand with the oppressed, they (courts) will endorse the doctrine of necessity.
He said that Cipher case hearings were being delayed intentionally while drama was being created in the Iddat case also.
PTI founder said he didn’t want to leave Pakistan like Nawaz Sharif and Zardari and therefore he never wished to make a deal with the powerful.
On Toshakhana's reference, he said the government was bringing a fourth case, he asked the government to file all cases in one go.
Imran Khan said Nawaz Sharif was given a clean chit in the Avenfield Reference case while Zardari got relief in the Fake Account case. Imran Khan said to crush PTI, all departments were being used and judges were being pressurized to punish PTI leadership.
