Fidous Ashiq in first presser offers Burnol to opposition

Firdous Ashiq Awan, Special Assistant to Punjab Chief Minister on Information, in her first press conference after replacing Fayyaz ul Hassan Chohan, offered Burnol to opposition parties for the healing of wounds, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
SACM Firdous Ashiq said: “I do not want to do bombardment on the opposition’s fortification on the first day as an Information Minister.”
Firdous Ashiq Awan alleged that the narrative of Jati Umrah is an attempt to weaken the country. “However, every patriot of the country is ready to defend land against the conspirators and enemies of the country,” she added.
“Prime Minister Imran Khan and Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar will continue to serve the people and the screams of opposition will continue till 2023,” he said.

She said: “We are going to digitalize the Directorate of Public Relations (DGPR) connecting all nine divisions, 36 districts and all ministries information officers.”
Firdous said the Information Ministry is going to empower all the Elected Press Clubs and journalists’ bodies through capacity building workshops across the province through Digital Communication Academy.
There will be an orientation session in all press clubs across the province on the performance of the Punjab government that has only been buried in the hearts of the government officials, he added.
Firdous promised to announce a new advertising policy for the media.
