FM Jilani leaves for two-day visit to Tibet today

Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani will leave today for a two-day visit to Tibet, China, 24NewsHD TV channel Wednesday reported citing diplomatic sources.
During his visit to Tibet, the caretaker foreign minister will participate in the third Trans-Himalaya Forum for International Cooperation.
The caretaker foreign minister is visiting Nyingchi, a city in the autonomous region of Tibet, at the special invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
During his visit to Tibet, Jalil Abbas Jilani will meet the deputy prime minister of Mongolia.
He will also hold a formal meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
He will also meet Afghanistan’s interim foreign minister Mullah Amir Khan Muttaqi.
The Trans-Himalaya Forum was launched in 2018 to deepen practical cooperation among regional countries. This cooperation covers diverse topics including geographical connectivity, environmental protection, environmental protection, and enhancing cultural ties.
