In yet another action by the Karachi Port Trust (KPT) team, a ship carrying LPG tanker was saved from getting stuck in deep water container port on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The Panama registered ship had got stuck 52 nautical miles off the Karachi coast due to a fault in its engine. But KPT Tug Boat Commander, Sindh Bad-II and crew members swung into action and succeeded in pulling the ship out of the port and taking it to a safe place.

This is the second incident of its kind in less than two months as over a month ago, in July, a cargo ship from Honk Kong had got stuck at KSV.
