5 gunned down in KP’s Battagram district over land dispute

Five people including two brothers were killed and four were injured during gun fight between two groups on land dispute in Battagram district, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
On receiving information, a heavy contingent of police reached the crime scene. The bodies and injured were shifted to DHQ Hospital Battagram, and a heavy police contingent was deployed in the area, which remained present in the area until the funeral of the accused.
According to the police, four people from one side and one person from the other side were killed in a shootout in a fight over the cutting of trees. Two cousins and two brothers-in-law were among those killed, while four people were injured in the shooting.
