Cardi B is done playing nice—and she’s letting the world know, one fiery clapback at a time.
During a recent chat with fans on Twitter Spaces, the Grammy-winning rapper gave a no-holds-barred preview of what’s to come in her long-awaited sophomore album. Hinting at lyrical smoke for some of her female rap peers, Cardi claimed she's ready to address those who she says disrespected her during her pregnancy and turbulent breakup with Offset.
“I don’t even like saying, ‘Cardi is in her villain era,’ but I really do feel like I turned into a supervillain, deada**,” she told listeners. “Like sometimes I would avoid certain things—I ain’t avoiding sht. You gon’ take this dck, b*tch.”
Of course, the internet never lets anything slide, and one X (formerly Twitter) user tried to drag Cardi for focusing on petty feuds instead of her personal drama. But Cardi B, never one to miss a beat, fired back instantly: “I could worry about whatever the f*ck I want to worry about when it comes about ME.”
The exchange didn’t stop there. When the troll took it a step further and brought up her parenting, suggesting she focus on her children, Cardi unloaded another trademark response: “Literally replied in 30 seconds, hungry a** btch,” she snapped. “As for the kids, you see how chubby my baby is? Well-fed with 50K on her arm alone in bracelets. I can sit all day, rub my feet, and argue if I want to cause I’m a MILLIONAIRE btch.”
Unbothered, unfiltered, and unapologetically Cardi, the Bronx-born rapper made it crystal clear—she’s owning her villain arc, coming for anyone who doubted her, and cashing checks while doing it.
