Virgin Atlantic to start Pakistan flights from Dec 13

Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) has granted permission to Virgin Atlantic Airways, a British airline, to operate to and from Pakistan while the airline also announced the flight schedule from December 13, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

Virgin Atlantic Airways will be operating four direct flights a week from London to Lahore and three a week from London to Islamabad, the TV channel reported.

The CAA has approved the airline’s cargo and passenger flight operations.

The CAA gave permission for passenger flights from December 13 to March 27. It is pertinent to note that flight bookings started in September and the news was first reported in August.

The first flight of Virgin Airline will operate from London on December 13 that will reach Lahore on December 14 to be well received by CAA officials.

The airline will use its modern Airbus-332. CAA issued a notification to operate flights from Lahore and Islamabad while Virgin Atlantic was not granted permission to operate flights from Manchester.

The TV channel reported that Virgin Airlines cargo will bring airline’s staffers on December 7 and December 9 flights.

Virgin Atlantic will operate four flights for Lahore and three flights for Islamabad weekly, the TV channel reported.
