Grave joke as Kasur police register FIR against dead man

December 5, 2022 04:11 PM

In an ultimate example of sloppy performance, the Kasur police have registered a case against a dead person who might have been turning in his grave over his nomination, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

The case was registered on the complaint of Kasur Tanneries Waste Management Agency (KTWMA).

The agency official accused Barkat Masih of hurling death threats and interfering in the state affairs.

Despite the fact that Barkat Masih died in 2018 but the police still nominated him in the case.

The case was lodged against Barkat on the written complaint of KTWMA recovery in-charge.

Police said since they have got the death certificate of the deceased accused, so his name would be excluded from the case.
