Prime Minister congratulated England on winning the first Test match and termed the English team's return to Pakistan after seventeen years as a historic move.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, Prime Minister addressed the reception ceremony in honor of the England and Pakistan cricket teams at the PM House on Monday.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed hope Pakistan will win the second test match and he will pray for the success of the Pakistani team.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in a light mood conversation with British High Commissioner Christian Turner told that his team (Pakistan) will beat England in Multan.

The PM said peace was established in Pakistan after great sacrifices, adding that they have close relations with England.

He appreciated Ben Stokes' passion for supporting the flood-hit victims in Pakistan and his passion is commendable.
