PTI leaders not allowed to meet Imran Khan in Adiala jail

Opposition leader in National Assembly Omer Ayub has said that PTI leaders were not allowed to enter Adiala Jail and meet PTI founder Imran Khan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing a press conference outside Adiala jail, the opposition leader said that PTI leaders Shibli Faraz, Rauf Hassan, Sheharyar Afridi and Shandana Gulzar were waiting outside the jail from 1pm but they were not allowed to meet Imran Khan.
At 5pm jail administration told the leaders that high-ups did not permit them to allow PTI leaders to have a meeting with Khan.
Omer Ayub said that PTI leaders were waiting outside the jail amid scorching heat and at 5pm jail check post police guards asked PTI MNAs to quit the mosque.
He said their meeting was arranged on court orders but a tout IG police did not allow them to meet Imran Khan. He said some elements wanted to pressurize PTI lawmakers but PTI MNAs wanted to make it clear that all MNAs were united and will remain part of Imran Khan's team.
On the occasion, Shibli Faraz said that, “We are all elected people, we are being humiliated. We came to meet our leader which was our right as Imran Khan is the former Prime Minister of the country”.
He said the PTI wanted to seek permission from DC Islamabad for a rally in Islamabad but the local administration didn’t allow them and also arrested PTI leader Amir Mughal.
He said, “We have come to the assemblies after fighting elections”. Shibli said: “Nowadays, some people were launched and they want to break the party”.
He said, “we all agree with allegiance to our leader Imran Khan. We have no differences as on February 8, the masses had voted for Imran Khan”.
MNA Shehryar Afridi told the media that “one thing was clear, we are united, we will not be divided. We are Khan's soldiers and can do anything for him”. He said this was a tactic of the opposition to divide PTI”.
MNA Shandana Gulzar rejected reports of differences within the party terming them baseless. She said if she was angry with the party, she would not have come here.
