Sindh DIG Amir Farooqi transferred

The federal government has ordered the transfer of Sindh Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police Amir Farooqi with immediate effect, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Establishment Division issued a formal notification in this regard on Friday withdrawing services of DIG Amir Farooqi from Sindh.

Amir Farooqi is a Grade 20 Officer from Police Service of Pakistan and has been directed to report to the Establishment Division.

It is pertinent to mention that the transfer orders for DIG Amir Farooqi came a day after Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired a high-level meeting for promotions and transfers of high-ranking officers.
