Ghee, sugar worth Rs150m seized from Okara market

Okara Assistant Commissioner Rashid Naimat on Sunday raided the city's food market and seized a huge quantity of ghee and sugar worth Rs150 million, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The district administration seized all the ghee and sugar taking into government control.
Okara AC Rashid also imposed a fine of Rs50,000 on the hoarders.
He vowed that nobody will be allowed to hoard the sugar and ghee.
The hoarders usually hide their stock waiting for the prices to go up and then release it on the inflated prices.
