Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice-President Maryam Nawaz said on Friday that everybody had realised by now how a mafia looked like and how it pressurizes the national institutions, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking to media men at Kashmir House in Islamabad, she said now when Abdul Hafeez Shaikh, one of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) candidates for Senate elections from Islamabad, had lost to Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) candidate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, the party had started finding faults with the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

“We have never made state institutions controversial,” Maryam said, and added the nation had witnessed who had put question marks over the credibility of these institutions.
The PML-N vice president urged President Arif Alvi to release the complete text of the section under which he had convened the National Assembly session on March 6th (Saturday) in which the prime minister was to take a vote of confidence because that very section read that such sessions were only convened when the president thinks that the prime minister has lost the trust of members of the National Assembly, and, therefore, he should go for a vote of confidence.
Maryam said neither the Supreme Court nor the Election Commission of Pakistan was authorised to amend the constitution.
