Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) Convener Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said on Sunday that people associated with his party were the children of founders of Pakistan therefore they could not be traitors.

Addressing a party meeting in Hyderabad, Siddiqui said when it came to protecting the sanctity of Pakistan, his party showed its love for Pakistan on August 22. He said that forefathers of his party men had come out to make Pakistan in 1947 and now it was the responsibility of their next generations to save Pakistan. He said that land lords and chieftain rulers and the rotten, stinking and sick system of governance or those protecting it would not survive.

Siddiqui said his party would not be used by anyone and it would remain steadfast. He said that a decisive moment has come. He invited those who left the party in recent years to rejoin. He said that MQM-P was like Noah’s Boat for the migrants and those who would not board this boat would not survive. He said the MQM-P would go to any extent for the sake of its identity and rights. He said that Hyderabad is as important part of Sindh as Karachi.

Siddiqui said that Sindh had been part of Pakistan when it appeared on the map of the world. He said that Pakistan is the name of an agreement and Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru and Lord Mountbatten were witnesses to this agreement. He said the MQM-P has rendered the sacrifices of its share. He said that this case would be decided in a single sitting if it is taken up by the International Court of Justice (ICJ).
