Security at Ahmedabad Cricket Stadium bolstered due to terror threats

The authorities in India have beefed up security at the Ahmedabad Stadium, where the matches of the Cricket World Cup are being held, due to terror threats, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
According to Indian media reports, there is a threat of terrorism during the World Cup matches in Ahmedabad. Terrorists have threatened to attack the matches in Ahmedabad.
More than 3,000 police personnel will be deployed in and around the Ahmedabad Stadium. The road leading to the stadium will be completely closed during the matches.
Nothing will be allowed inside the Ahmedabad Stadium during the match except mobile phones.
A total of five matches are scheduled in the Ahmedabad Stadium, including the opening match of the World Cup and the India-Pakistan match.
The final will also be played at the Ahmedabad Stadium.
