Indian Cricket Board’s 4-member delegation reaches Lahore

Indian Cricket Board’s 4-member delegation has arrived in Lahore, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.
The delegation was received by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Management Committee chairman Chaudhry Zaka Ashraf at the local hotel.
The delegation from BCCI who entered via the Wagah border on a two-day visit included President Roger Binny, Vice-President Rajeev Shukla, Director BCCI Yudhvir Singh, and BCCI Secretary to President Muhammad Akram.
During their visit to Pakistan, the delegation will observe the Asia Cup matches and engage in discussions with PCB officials on mutual interests.

While speaking informally with reporters on this occasion, Zaka Ashraf mentioned that discussions are ongoing regarding the venues for the Asia Cup matches.
However, he added that if a friendly government is formed in India, their cricket team could also visit Pakistan.
“Positive that our cricketing ties will grow which will lead to growing our bilateral ties”, said PCB Chairman Zaka Ashraf as he held hands with Rajiv Shukla and Roger Binny, BCCI’s top-ranking officials here in Lahore.
Speaking on the occasion, the BCCI president the Indian delegation was visiting Pakistan at the invitation of the PCB, adding: “We have old ties with Pakistan and I feel good after visiting Pakistan for the first time after 2005”.
Roger Binny added, “Very pleased to be in Pakistan. Thank Pakistan for inviting us over”.
The delegation will attend a dinner at the Governor's House tonight
BCCI Vice President Rajeev Shukla said that Pakistan is the host of the Asia Cup, and it is our duty to come here.
Rajeev Shukla continued that Pakistan and India have good relations in the Cricket Board.
“0We will take good memories from here,” Rajeev Shukla added.
