University assistant director shot dead in Kandhkot

An assistant director of IBA University was shot dead by a rival armed group of Sundrani community in Kandhkot on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

The shocking incident happened at Kandhkot where Ajmal Sawand, Assistant Director at the IBA University Kandhkot Campus, was shot dead by armed assailants, because of a long-standing animosity between the Sawand and Sundrani communities.

After committing the murder, the attackers from the Sundrani group engaged in celebratory aerial firing. Additionally, they recorded the video of their celebration and firing Kalashnikovs, which they later uploaded on social media. 

Locals are gripped with fear after watching the video.
