Interior Minister briefs PM Shehbaz on canals issue, law and order

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at Model Town in Lahore on Saturday to discuss canal issue and public reaction, reported 24NewsHDTV Chanel.
Interior Minister also briefed the Prime Minister about the ongoing operation to repatriate Afghans to their country.
Mohsin Naqvi also congratulated the Prime Minister for reducing electricity prices.
Interior Minister briefed the Prime Minister on the political situation including law and order in the meeting.
The steps taken for peace and order in Balochistan and KP were also discussed. On the occasion, Prime Minister said govt and its allies should discuss their matters in the parliament. He said there is unprecedented political harmony among the government allies.
Shehbaz Sharif said the wheel of national development has got back on its track, now no one will be allowed to carry out political sabotage activities.
The PM said political stability and law and order situation in the country is improving day by day.
The meeting between the Prime Minister and the Interior Minister lasted for 40 minutes. The Interior Minister and the PCB Chairman also informed the Prime Minister about the steps taken for preparations for the PSL season. The PCB Chairman also informed the Prime Minister about the security issues during the PSL tournament.
