Major terror plot foiled: CTD recovers huge cache of arms in Quetta

The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has recovered a large quantity of weapons and explosives from Saryab Road in Quetta, effectively thwarting a major terrorist plot, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.

According to the CTD spokesperson, the seized cache includes automatic weapons, hand grenades, and improvised explosive devices (IEDs). 

The spokesperson added that the terrorists were planning a major attack, which was prevented due to the timely and effective operation by CTD.

The CTD operation has been hailed as a critical success in the fight against terrorism, ensuring the safety of Quetta’s citizens.
