Mercury to reach 40 degree centigrade in Karachi today

The Met Office predicted that Karachi residents are likely to experience a rise in mercury as the city’s temperature is likely to reach 40 degrees centigrade today, reported 24HD News Channel on Sunday.
The Met Office said that sea winds will come to a halt while dry and hot winds will run during day timings.
The Met Office further said that after resumption, the sea breeze season will become better.
The city of Karachi is experiencing clear sunlight while the current temperature of the city is 29 degrees centigrade.
There is 46 percent moisturiser recorded in the air of the city. The westerly winds are blowing in the city at 14 kilometres per hour.
The Met Office warned citizens to take precautionary measures due to the rise in temperature.
The Met Office advised people to limit their outdoor activities and prefer to drink lemon water and beverages and prefer to cover their faces and heads with a cap or an umbrella.
The Air Quality Index (AQI) level of the city is satisfactory. Karachi achieved 64th position on the World Air Quality Index while the city is declared the fifth most polluted city of Pakistan.
