Four labourers die while cleaning well in Gujar Khan

Four labourers died while cleaning a well in Adra Kalan village in Gujar Khan on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The labourers were taking out water from the well by turning on the electric generator when the incident happened. The labourers died of suffocation due to generator’s gas that filled the well.
Eyewitnesses said that a person got down the well to save a young man who had climbed down the well to clean it. Then a second person went down to save the labourers in the well, followed by another two persons.
However, all of them except one were died of suffocation. The rescuers were able to take out only one person alive who was also unconscious. He was identified as Khawar.
Those who died were identified as Jamil (22), Ramadan (43), Wahab (25) and Naseer (40).
The rescuers shifted the injured and the dead bodies of labourers to a nearby hospital.
