Final-year MBBS student was found dead under suspicious circumstances in a hostel of Khairpur Medical College, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.

The victim was identified as Suneha Jyoti Keswani  who hailed from Daharki city of Ghotki district. She had been living in the hostel for the past four years and was found dead in her room.

The reports suggest that she passed away after experiencing a severe cardiac arrest while preparing for her upcoming examination.

Upon the incident, Ms. Keswani was promptly rushed to the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) in Khairpur.

The duty doctors at NICVD declared her dead upon arrival.

It is reported that her parents, upon reaching the Civil Hospital Khairpur, retrieved her body without undergoing any autopsy.

 However, the Khairpur police have started investigation to ascertain the case of death because her death sparks concerns among the students of the college.
