Hazara University closed after detection of coronavirus among staff

The administration has closed Hazara University after detection of coronavirus among several university staff members, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to the notification issued by the Hazara University on Sunday, several staff members were diagnosed with coronavirus due to which the university would remain closed till Feb 15. 

The decision to shut the institute was taken in order to limit the spread of the virus among students and university staff, the notification further read.

Authorities in Peshawar and Mardan had sealed a number of schools recently after positive Covid-19 cases were reported among students.
