German senior diplomat found mysteriously dead in Islamabad flat

The body of a foreign national was discovered in a flat within the Diplomatic Enclave, located in the jurisdiction of Islamabad’s Secretariat Police Station, on Monday.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the deceased was identified as Thomas Felder, a German second secretary.
Islamabad police have moved the body to the hospital for a postmortem and have initiated further investigations.
The German Embassy has also been informed about the initial details of the incident by the police.
According to police sources, the German citizen's room was locked from the inside.
Concern arose when the individual did not report to the office in the morning and failed to respond to phone calls, prompting authorities to be alerted.
Upon arrival, police broke down the door and recovered the body.
