An advocate of Lahore High Court was arrested on Wednesday for going berserk at the court’s copy branch, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Majid Jahangir got enraged after he was not received a copy of a court judgment on time. With the help of a bamboo, the lawyers smashed the glasses installed on the counters of the copy branch, also known as Naql Branch among the lawyers fraternity. 

Lahore DIG Operations Suhail Chaudhry said the accused has been arrested and further legal action was being taken.

The DIG Operations said that the accused would be dealt with as per the law no matter how much pressure they face.

The DIG said that the security of courts was the top priority and there would be no stone leave unturned in this regard.
