Promising young opener Saim Ayub has been declared fully fit by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) medical panel and is all set to rejoin Peshawar Zalmi.
Ayub, who had sustained an injury during a Test match against South Africa, underwent a complete rehabilitation process in London. Following extensive treatment and recovery, he has now returned to Pakistan with a clean bill of health.
The left-hander will hold his first post-recovery practice session at the Islamabad Club alongside fellow Zalmi teammates. His return comes as a boost to the squad ahead of upcoming fixtures.
Meanwhile, Peshawar Zalmi captain Babar Azam is expected to link up with the team upon his return from New Zealand.
