A horrific double murder shocked the federal capital as two women were brutally killed and a third narrowly escaped an attack by the same assailant, who fled the scene after the assault attempt, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.
According to Islamabad police, CCTV footage revealed the suspect walking away calmly through a street after committing the murders.
Law enforcement officials confirmed that the man attacked three women in total—two of whom tragically lost their lives, while the third survived the attempted assault.
The incident took place in the jurisdiction of Lohi Bher Police Station, where a case has been registered under Sections 302 (murder) and 324 (attempted murder) of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).
Islamabad police officials stated that the case appears to be linked to a personal grudge, and an investigation is currently underway to trace and arrest the accused.
