Renowned legal expert Naeem Bokhari came down hard on the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, criticising him over his conduct and choices during his time in power, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

According to the channel, Naeem Bokhari strongly condemned Imran Khan’s involvement in the Al-Qadir Trust case, stating, "He shouldn’t have even touched the land linked to Al-Qadir Trust."

Bokhari also questioned Imran Khan’s judgement in selecting his advisors, remarking, "He is not a good judge of character. How could he choose people like Fawad Chaudhry and Babar Awan as his advisors?"

Referring to the Toshakhana gifts scandal, Bokhari raised serious concerns about the former prime minister's actions, saying, "How can you take possession of anything that belongs to the state? Even a ball pen or pencil given as a gift is considered state property."

He further said that Imran Khan had become increasingly superstitious, often saying things like, "Today is not a good day." Bokhari’s remarks mark a rare but fierce critique from a senior legal figure who once stood close to the PTI leadership.
