PM arrives in Ankara on two-day visit to Turkiye

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Ankara on a two-day visit to Turkiye at the invitation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Turkiye's Defence Minister Yashar Guler received the Prime Minister at the airport.
During the visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will meet Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Both the leaders will exchange views on further expanding bilateral relations and important regional and global issues.
The Prime Minister will also hold meetings with Turkish investors and business delegations. Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi are accompanying the Prime Minister. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday departed Islamabad for Turkiye to pay a two-day visit, at the invitation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Shehbaz Sharif was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, Information and Broadcasting Minister Attaullah Tarar and Special Assistant to PM Tariq Fatemi, according to a PM Office press release issued in Islamabad.
During the visit, the prime minister will hold extensive discussions with President Erdogan on bilateral relations as well as exchange views on recent developments in the region and beyond. As long-standing allies and strategic partners, Pakistan and Turkiye maintain a tradition of regular high-level exchanges, reflecting the exceptional bonds of brotherhood between the two nations.
The 7th session of HLSCC was held in Islamabad on February 12–13, 2025 chaired by President Erdogan and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
