PTI’s Shibli Faraz terms cut in power tariff eyewash

Senior PTI leader Shibli Faraz said on Monday that a cut in the electricity prices announced by the government was a futile attempt to give the impression that all is well in the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Speaking to reporters in Islamabad, he said that the party would raise the issue in the parliament and expose the government. “We are working on it,” he informed.
Regarding the Judicial Complex attack case, he said everybody knew this was fabricated to victimize the political opponents of the government.
He further said that former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan would only be released from jail once the government realized that the country had to move forward. “We have to develop the country. We have to keep this country united,” Shibli said, and added, “We have to leave a prosperous Pakistan for our coming generations.”
