US dollar up by 19paisas against Pak rupee; pound, euro lose ground

US dollar gains 19paisas against Pak rupee Monday during the inter-bank trade, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.

During the inter-bank trade on the first working day of the week, US dollar was being traded at Rs160.32, showing an increase of 19paisas at the close of the market.

In open market, the US dollar gained only 10paisa against Pakistan Rupee as it was being traded the Rs160.5, according to Exchange Commission of Pakistan.

However, both euro and British pound lost ground against Pakistan Rupee both in inter-bank and open market.

During the inter-bank trade, one euro was available for Rs193.76, a decrease of 96paisas. In open market, euro shed 50paisa to be traded for Rs193.50.

British pound saw a decrease of Rs2.73 in inter-bank trade and was being traded for Rs212.15. In open bank, the pound saw a decrease of Rs2.50 and was being traded for Rs212.50.
