Islamabad hospitals put on high alert during elections

The government hospitals in the federal capital Islamabad have been put on a high alert from February 7 to February 8 ahead of the upcoming general elections 2024, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
According to sources, the Federal Ministry of National Health has issued a notification that directs hospitals to maintain heightened vigilance during this period, aligning with the Election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) deadline for the conclusion of election campaigning, set for tonight at midnight.
Pakistan Institute of Medical Science (PIMs), polyclinics, and FGH hospitals are on high alert before elections.
High alert has been implemented for any emergency during the elections.
