Former Lahore DC ordered to join investigation in case of appointing favourites

An anti-corruption court has ordered former Lahore deputy commissioner Saleha Saeed, a co-accused with former Punjab chief minister Usman Buzdar in the case of appointing favourite persons to important positions by taking bribes, to join the investigation at 2pm today, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
Saleha Saeed appeared in the court which asked the investigation office for the inquiry report at the next hearing and adjourned further hearing till July 14 next.
Senior special judge anti-corruption Khalid Muhammad Bhatti heard the case.
Saleha Saeed had acquired interim bail in the case to avoid arrest.
Usman Buzdar and others are accused of appointing their favourite officers to positions by giving bribes.
