Suicide bomber, handler identified in Peshawar mosque attack incident

The operation to apprehend the network involved in a suicide attack inside Jamia Mosque located at Kocha – e – Rasladar Chowk in historic Qisa Khwani Bazar during Friday prayers is being carried out in different districts, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

Four special teams of Counter Terrorism Department's (CTD) investigation cell are in different tribal districts to carry out the operation while Inter Intelligence Co-ordination teams are also working to identify and locate the network of the facilitators and handlers involved in the incident. 

Law enforcement authorities (LEAs) have identified the suicide attacker and one of the handlers involved in the suicide attack at a Peshawar mosque.

According to sources, the suicide bomber has been identified with his alias of Abdullah as he frequently used to change his name.

They further shared that data and the picture of one of the handlers have also been found and he is being identified as Hasan Shah, a resident of Jamrud area of Khyber district.

Around four teams of CTD are currently in tribal districts to arrest the handler with the help of GSM locator.

Meanwhile, another person succumbed to his injuries as the death toll in a blast occurred inside Jamia Mosque located at Kocha – e – Rasladar Chowk in historic Qisa Khwani Bazar during Friday prayers reached 63.
