A policeman opened indiscriminate firing at his own family members’ car in the area of Lower Dir in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. killing three people on the spot, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Three people were shot dead including the accused’s wife, daughter and driver.

The accused managed to run away from the crime scene.

Police teams of Khal Police Station reached the spot and shifted the bodies to the hospital for post mortem.

The motive behind the incident has not been ascertained yet as to why the policeman killed his own wife, daughter and his driver.
