Brent oil drops below $90, first time since before Ukraine war

The main international oil contract, Brent crude, fell below $90 per barrel on Wednesday, a level not seen since before Russia's invasion of Ukraine, as recession fears weigh on the market.
Brent fell by more than three percent to $89.88 at around 1320 GMT while the US benchmark, WTI, fell under the $85 mark for the first time since January.
