The government is mulling over a plan to provide the people with relief in electricity bill payments.
Sources said the plan will be taken up at Economic Coordination Committee today.
Under the package, 300-unit consumers can submit bills after three months. An amount of Rs22 billion is set aside under the plan.
Fuel adjustment also deferred for three months while Rs75 billion relief in fuel adjustment charges.

The industry sector will be provided with Rs2 per unit cut.
