FIA summons Lesco chief, senior officials over power pilferage probe

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has summoned the Lahore Electric Supply Company (Lesco) chief executive officer (CEO) and two other senior officials in connection to probe into the involvement of officials in power pilferage and overbilling.
Lesco officers were summoned to the FIA Lahore office tomorrow at 11 am. The FIA Anti-Corruption Circle has directed the officers to bring all records related to line losses, power theft, and overbilling. Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi ordered the investigation.
