The administration and police of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) is on hHigh alert on the eve of Aurat Azadi March and Jamaat-e-Islami Haya March, reported 24NewHD TV channel.
Participants of the Aurat Azadi March started gathering in front of Islamabad Press Club as they will march from the National Press Club to F-6 Express Square.
The TV channel reported that Islamabad police is on high alert to avoid any untoward incident like happened last year.

Participants of the Aurat Azadi March gathered outside the National Press Club along with placards and banners inscribed with Aurat March slogans and demands.
Police have cordoned off Islamabad Press Club placing barbed wires and barricades.

While, Aurat March Lahore said, “We stand in solidarity with the organisers of Aurat Azadi March who have been denied NOC by Islamabad DC, despite applying for it well in advance. This is a denial of their right protest peacefully and is a blatant attempt to silence feminist voices.”
Netherlands Ambassador to Pakistan, Wouter Plomp in a video message paid tribute to the women who fought against COVID-19 from the front. He said, “Khawateen ka almi din Mubarak ho.”
