Rowdy passenger carrying bird arrested at Peshawar airport

November 8, 2020 09:31 PM

A rowdy passenger onboard an Airblue flight from Jeddah to Peshawar was arrested on his arrival at the Peshawar airport for creating a mess during the flight.

The passenger reportedly hid his pet bird in his pocket and brought it onboard. After taking his seat, the passenger started playing with his bird. An air hostess asked him the reason for bringing his bird onboard and he flared up.

As soon as the Airblue flight 711 landed at the Peshawar airport, the pilot of the plane called the Airport Security Force (ASF) and the force took the passenger into custody right on the plane. The ASF personnel seized his bird and told him to tender a written apology for his action.

In consequence, the passenger had to tender a written apology. Later his bird was also returned to him.

Airblue DMD Raheel Ahmad confirmed the incident onboard the flight.
