Baligh terms Governor Raj as constitutional option on unrest in Punjab

Punjab Governor Baligh ur Rehman on Tuesday declared the Governor's Rule as a constitutional option due to the worsening situation in Punjab.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Governor Punjab Balighur Rehman visited the Pakistan Federation of Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Karachi on Tuesday.
Talking to traders and industrialists in the chamber, Baligh ur Rehman said if there is unrest in Punjab province, there is an option in the constitution to impose Governor's rule.
The Punjab governor said there is Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government in Punjab and it was responsible to ensure the safety of all buildings including the Governor's House.
Baligh ur Rehman said that the scenes of the attack on the governor's house in Punjab are very regrettable and condemnable.
Punjab Governor Baligh further said that China was angry with Pakistan for not working on CPEC projects in the last three years. And now, after the Prime Minister's visit to China has improved relations, he added.
He also ensured the business community of the country that the threat of default has been averted and the economy is on the upswing now.
He also said that the top priority of the government is to complete the Charter of Economy.
