A flight of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) developed a technical fault minutes before flying from Islamabad to Quetta on Tuesday.
As a result, the pilot stopped the plane on the runway. PIA engineers could not fix the fault in A-320 plane even after a lapse of many hours. Later, the Islamabad to Quetta flight was cancelled. In reaction, passengers resorted to a noisy argument with the airport management.
Keeping in view the situation, the PIA will operate two flights from Islamabad to Quetta on Wednesday. PIA spokesperson Abdullah Khan said that passengers of the Quetta-bound flight had been shifted to a hotel where they will spend the night.
