The Punjab Police has secured the release of children from abductors in Khanpur
IGP Usman Anwqar announced a Rs1 million reward for the police team.
The top cop reached Khanpur where he met the doctor's family and the recovered children.
Dr Usman Anwar while speaking on this occasion said Chief Minister issued instructions to secure the release of the abductees as soon a he got to know about the incident.
The Punjab Police are alert for the establishment of law and order, which is clear proof of the recovery of the two abducted children in a very short period of time, he added
He continued: "In this last district of Punjab, the police are fully active. From tonight, the operation will start in notorious Kachha area.
“The convoy of senior officers will enter the area first.
“The priority is to restore the police outposts. The operation is being supported by all agencies, including the Pakistan Army.
“In a few days, apparently, peace will be established in the area.
"A new police station will soon be established in Khanpur and Modern vehicles will also be provided".
