15-kg bomb recovered in Lakki Marwat

Police foiled a major sabotage plan of terrorism by recovering a bomb planted in a room next to a tubewell in the nearby village of Wanda Medli in Lakki Marwat, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday. 
According to police, a 15-kg bomb was planted by unknown assailants, which was defused by the disposal squad last night.
The police received information that a bomb had been planted in a room next to a tubewell in the nearby village.
The police, along with the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS), reached the spot and safely defused the 15 kg bomb, saving the area from any major accidents.
DPO, Deputy Commissioner Lakki Marwat, has appealed to the public to immediately report any suspicious activity to the police so that law and order can be maintained.
