China has strongly condemned the behaviour of former U.S. President Donald Trump, labelling it as "blackmail and bullying." In a bold statement, the spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry said the United States must correct its mistakes and immediately withdraw all unilateral tariffs imposed against China.

Addressing the media, the spokesperson asserted that China would not tolerate Trump’s coercive tactics and warned that if the US president failed to reverse his decision, China would respond with further countermeasures against the superpower.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry emphasised its willingness to continue engagement with other countries and reiterated its stance that dialogue must be based on equality. It called on the United States to abandon its pressure-driven policies and urged Washington to amend its flawed course of action.

“We are prepared to hold discussions on equal footing,” the spokesperson declared, while reaffirming China's resolve to protect its national interests at all costs.
