Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a sharp increase on Wednesday following big rise in international rates, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
Gold prices in the global market has become more expensive by $30 and reached $3040 per ounce.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, in Pakistan per tola gold prices jump Rs3000 and touched Rs321,000. While 10 grams gold has become more expensive by Rs2572. After the hike 10 gram gold price has reached Rs275,205. The price of one tola of silver remained at Rs3170.
With gold reaching record highs, concerns are growing among investors and jewellery buyers. The rising prices have made it increasingly difficult for ordinary citizens to purchase gold ornaments, while traders continue to navigate the challenges of a constantly shifting market.
