The prosecution has requested the court to include sections of hiding evidence in the indictment of Dr Maha’s alleged suicide case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The alleged suicide case of Dr Maha on Monday got a new turn during its hearing in the Additional District & Sessions Court, South when the prosecution pleaded to the court to include sections regarding hiding of the evidence in the case.

The prosecution requested the court to add further sections regarding concealing of truth to the indictment against the accused.

The court directed the government lawyer to apprise it on what grounds such sections should be added to the indictment.

The court adjourned the hearing of the case for a short while and asked the parties to deliberate on the case and come back.

The court will indict the accused in Dr Maha’s alleged suicide case later today (Monday).

The prosecution told the court that the accused still had not given their DNA sample. And if they refuse to give their DNA sample, it is tantamount to concealing the facts.

The court said if the accused were not giving DNA samples, then the SSP investigation should be contacted.

The prosecution requested the adjournment of the indictment proceedings by the court.

The court said that the sections about rape were already included in the indictment.
